Operation Principles of the Educational Center “Touching the Horizon”
1. Circles of giving – the youths that participate in the program will be taught skills and asked to used them for their own benefit, as well as for the benefit of the community in which they live, while the program is still in motion.
2. Active development – throughout the program we expect actual progress from each of the teens.
3. Long-term process – we believe in responsibility and in gradual work, which yield stable and effective results.
4. Working in circles of influence – developing and strengthening the participants’ self image, clearing up past obstacles, working on influential abilities and functioning as part of a team, and social responsibility.
5. Active involvement of donors and volunteers – we encourage various ways of participation for any business company that contributes to the program, such as delivering lectures, coaching, tours, joint volunteer activities, holiday employment and more.
6. Social business organizational culture – a constant self-examination of the courses’ progress through intermediate measures in order to verify success or locate blunders of the final goals.
