A national humanitarian umbrella organization (RA 580328839), established in 1998 to work on behalf of the needy in Israel, without regard to sex, religion, creed, race, origin, or nationality.
At its aid centers, the organization extends immediate aid to the needy through distribution of food and clothing, as well as long-term solutions through vocational guidance aimed at helping the needy join the ranks of the employed.
Based on a belief that the future of Israeli society depends on the education of today’s youth, the organization also operates the Ilan Ramon Touching the Horizon Educational Center, where young people with potential and will, though lacking in financial means, receive an education, are empowered, and learn the tools to break the cycle of poverty.

Special day of activities for children of the educational program.

students of the educational program participated in an exciting day of activities aimed at bettering the community. The activity was held at the community center for the elderly in Neve Sharet neighborhood. The children where joined by 'Combers'  (make sure this is right) employees. 
During the day, the students Cooked with the elderly, heard their stories, and engaged in common activities.  Combers company, who's employees took part in the day, is a partner in founding educational programs under the 'Touch the Horizon' center of Pitchon-Lev. The Center helps students reach their full potential by enabling them to graduate with a full high school diploma, and enabling them to fully inroll in the Army. The program is also aimed at instilling values of volunteering, love for the country, and help for the community.
